More than 17,000 members attended the dedication of the Church's 44th temple in Toronto, Ontario, Aug. 25-27. Eleven dedicatory sessions were presided over by President Gordon B. Hinckley, first counselor in the First Presidency, and President Thomas S. Monson, second counselor.
The members of the temple district, stretching from Ontario to the Maritime provinces and from Michigan to Vermont, come from an area rich in Church history. Coverage of the dedication begins on page 3.
