The First Presidency has announced the call of six more mission presidents. The new presidents and their wives will be assigned to specific missions later and will begin their service about July 1. Those called are:
Robert E. Floto, 51, Chula Vista 2nd Ward, Chula Vista California Stake; bishop, former bishop and counselor, Scoutmaster, and stake president; pharmacy owner; received bachelor's degree from Drake University; born in Marshalltown, Iowa, a son of Vern Eugene and Phyllis Georgine Crabtree Floto; married Catherine Kay Higginbottom; five children. She is a stake Young Women president's counselor, former ward Primary president's counselor, and stake and ward Young Women camp leader; studied nursing at Grand View College; born in Des Moines, Iowa, a daughter of Harry Owen and Georgia Lavina Satterlee Higginbottom.
Steven H. Jensen, 57, Gridley 1st Ward, Gridley California Stake; high councilor and stake young single adult adviser, former stake Young Men president, temple ordinance worker, stake president, bishop, and stake seventies president; served in Central States Mission, 1955-57; high school teacher; received bachelor's degree from Chico State College and did graduate work at BYU; born in Gridley, Calif., a son of Ira Milford and Ellen Hyde Jensen; married LaRee Adams, three children. She is a Relief Society teacher and stake young single adult adviser, former temple ordinance worker, stake Primary president, ward activities committee chairman, and Young Women president; received associate degree from Stephens College and bachelor's degree from BYU; born in Moab, Utah, a daughter of Joseph William and Dora Black Adams. Lee, Kang Woo, 47, Korean Branch, New York New York Stake; branch president, former high councilor, bishop, and Sunday School president; president and general manager of trading company; attended Kyung Kee University and Mercy College; born in Kwang-Joo, Korea, a son of Lee, Hwe Choon and Lee, Choo-Suek Park; married Kim, Kum Hee, four children. She is a Relief Society teacher, former branch Relief Society president and stake Relief Society president's counselor; attended Won-Joo University and Westchester Community School; born in Puk Chung, North Korea, a daughter of Kim, Hyun Soo and Kim, Kae Chun Lee. Wayne M. McGrath, 55, Mesa 20th Ward, Mesa Arizona Maricopa Stake; stake president's counselor, former ward Young Men president and counselor, high councilor, Primary teacher, bishop and counselor, and high priests group leader; executive director of Arizona Community College Board; received bachelor's and master's degrees from Northern Arizona University, doctorate degree from BYU; born in Duncan, Ariz., a son of James Vernon and Vessa Larola Hanchett McGrath; married Barbara Dene Shumway, six children. Alan D.
