The Old Testament map on pages 8-9 of this week's Church News is part 1 of a two-part map showing possible sites of Old Testament stories. The second part, a map focusing on sites and stories in the Palestine area "from Dan to Beersheba," will be published in the Jan. 8 issue.
Both maps are essentially reprints of the maps published in the Church News in 1990, the last time the Gospel Doctrine course of study was on the Old Testament.This week's map and the map printed in the Jan. 8 issue will be reprinted on tear-resistant paper, front and back, and will be available to readers. The maps will be a good source of information in Church members' study of the Old Testament. Details of how to order the maps will be in next week's Church News.
