Marc Wilson, former all-America quarterback at BYU, will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame later this year, it was announced recently. He is one of this year's 12 inductees and is only the second BYU player to enter the hall, joining quarterback Gifford Nielsen.
Wilson set several NCAA and WAC total offense and passing records from 1977-79. He led BYU to an 11-1 record and WAC championship in 1979.He went on to play in the NFL for the Oakland and Los Angeles Raiders, and the New England Patriots.
A Sunday School teacher in the Woodinville 4th Ward, Bothell Washington Stake, Brother Wilson is now a real estate developer in the Seattle, Wash., area. He and his wife, Colleen, have four children.
