Conference workshops and open houses

In conjunction with general conference, a series of workshops and displays for Church auxiliaries and departments will be held.

Workshops

Held on the main and third floors of the Relief Society Building, 76 N. Main Street, Salt Lake City, Utah; Thursday, March 28; Friday, March 29; Thursday, April 4; and Friday, April 5. The morning sessions are usually very crowded, so we encourage you to attend in the afternoon, when more space is available.

Workshop descriptions

Teach as Jesus Taught - Leaders and teachers can follow the example of the Savior by loving the children, preparing well, and testifying as they teach.

Know This, That Every Soul is Free - Leaders can help young women understand and implement the doctrine of agency and accountability.

The Welfare of Our Souls: What We Must Gain and What We Must Give - "Seek ye earnestly the best gifts, always remembering for what they are given" (D&C 46:8). We must earnestly desire and diligently seek the gifts of the Spirit so that we may more fully look to the welfare of others.

Helps with Gospel Literacy - How to get started and sustain the gospel literacy effort.

Resource Center

A number of resources, such as displays, video presentations, some handout materials, and people to answer questions will be available for the following groups in the Resource Center on the Ground Floor of the Relief Society Building, 76 North Main Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. Resource Center hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. On March 28 and April 4, the Resource Center will be open until 9 p.m.
