Hong Kong Temple

Location: #2 Cornwall Street, Kowloon-Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Dedication: Dedicated by President Gordon B. Hinckley May 26-27, 1996, in seven sessions.Schedule: Opened for regular sessions May 28; sessions hourly from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Temple closed Sundays and Mondays.

Temple presidenct: President Ng, Kat Hang.

District: Six stakes: Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong Kowloon East, Hong Kong Kowloon West, Hong Kong Territories, Hong Kong Tolo Harbour and Singapore Singapore; two missions: Hong Kong and Singapore.

Rooms: Two ordinance and two sealing rooms, as well as a baptistry, offices and laundry rooms. The temple has 18,000 square feet and comprises the top three stories and basement of a seven-story building. Also in the building are a chapel and residences, which have 5,000 square feet, respectively.

Exterior: Seven stories high and topped by a statue of the Angel Moroni. Temple is faced with white granite, with gray marble facing on first floor and entryway.
