At what time were granite blocks hauled from Little Cottonwood Canyon for Temple Square in Salt Lake City other than during the construction of the Salt Lake Temple in the 1800s?
Answer to week's question
In March 1963, blocks of granite from Little Cottonwood Canyon were once again hauled to Temple Square in Salt Lake City, although this time with modern trucks on paved roads. The blocks were used to construct the Temple Annex and an addition on the north side of the sacred edifice.
