In many ways, the 167th Semiannual General Conference of the Church was much like any other conference. The music was stirring; the messages inspiring.
But in other ways, this October conference was unique. Memorable are the concern President Gordon B. Hinckley expressed for new converts; and the heartfelt moment during the closing session when he set his text aside and shared his love for the members.
