Tuition at Ricks College for the 1998-99 school year will be increased $35 per semester (3.6 percent), college officials reported.
Beginning in the fall semester of 1998, tuition will rise from $975 to $1,010 per semester. Students who are not members of the Church will pay $1,500 per semester, up from $1,450.Tuition pays slightly less than 30 percent of the actual operating costs of the college while the Church funds the remainder, said James R. Smyth, administrative vice president.
