New board members

The First Presidency has announced the calling of five members to the Relief Society General Board. They are:

Sue J. Butterfield, South Jordan Country Park 2nd Ward, South Jordan Country Utah Park Stake; homemaker, former secretary for Church's Welfare Department; temple worker, served with husband, Roger C. Butterfield, when he presided over California Ventura Mission from 1993-1996, former stake and ward Primary president, Den Leader, Young Women adviser, Relief Society teacher and compassionate service leader.- Shauna U. Frandsen, Brighton 7th Ward, Salt Lake Brighton Stake; elementary school teacher and member of district kindergarten steering committee; former ward Relief Society president, counselor and teacher, ward Primary president, counselor and teacher, Stake Young Women counselor, Laurel and Mia Maid adviser; married Ronald M. Frandsen.

Gayle H. Harris, North Ogden 3rd Ward, North Ogden Utah Stake; former ward Relief Society president, member of ward and stake Young Women presidencies, stake food storage specialist, teacher in the auxiliaries, physical fitness specialist and Blazer Scout leader; has been involved in community service activities, including United Way of North Utah, PTA president, Weber council PTA legislative vice-president, Weber High School restructuring committee, Weber School District career ladder and evaluation committees, Republican Party caucus chair, county and state delegate, community council and North Ogden library fund-raising committee; married Alma F. Harris.

Olivia T. King, Farmington 1st Ward, Farmington Utah Oakridge Stake; homemaker; former president and teacher in the auxiliaries, stake missionary, Cub Scout leader, BSA Merit badge counselor, ward and stake activities chairperson; has been volunteer for PTA, served on Farmington City Festival and Pioneer Holiday boards, on the cultural awareness board of Davis County School District, director for Miss Farmington scholarship contest and service project leader for the Women's Crisis Center; married Jerry L. King.

LaNell L. Moore, Mueller Park 4th Ward, Bountiful Utah Mueller Park Stake; served with husband, Garry K. Moore, when he presided over Argentina Buenos Aires West Mission, former board member in stake auxiliaries, served in stake Young Women presidency, and as ward Young Women and Primary president, former seminary teacher, teacher in the auxiliaries and Den Leader.
