Sigma Gamma Chi fraternity announces national officers

A new national president and officers of Sigma Gamma Chi, the Church fraternity for college men, have been announced.

Daniel M. Jones has been named national president. Richard O. Clark, Allan M. Gunnerson, and H. Kent Rappleye will serve as first and second counselors and as executive secretary, respectively.Daniel M. Jones, a member of Pheasant Ward, Centerville Utah Stake, is an institute director for the Church. He is a former mission president, bishop, high councilor, Sigma Gamma Chi national vice president, gospel doctrine teacher, and an Aaronic priesthood adviser. Wife, JoAnn Duncan Jones.

Richard O. Clark, a member of the Mount Olympus 8th Ward, Mount Olympus Utah North Stake, is a Church institute instructor. He is a former stake mission president, mission president's counselor, high councilor, bishop's counselor, and adviser to Sigma Gamma Chi. Wife, Penny Christofferson Clark.

Allan M. Gunnerson of the Wasatch 3rd Ward, Salt Lake Wasatch Stake, is an institute teacher. He is a former stake president, bishop, high councilor, elders quorum president, and gospel doctrine teacher. Wife, Vicki Peterson Gunnerson.

H. Kent Rappleye, a member of the Windsor 2nd Ward, Clearfield Utah South Stake, is an instructional designer for the Church Educational System. He is a former Aaronic Priesthood adviser, elders quorum president, high priests group leader, and ward mission leader. Wife, Nancy Allan Rappleye.
