Married 73 years ago on Nov. 9, 1924, in Payette, Idaho, where he worked on a threshing crew. They later moved to Rogers, Ark., and he was a cook, carpenter and farmer. She joined the Church in 1936 and he followed in 1939. A year later they were sealed in the Arizona Temple. They were among the first Church members in northwest Arkansas. She held one of the first home Primaries in the region and also taught Relief Society. He held many positions, including counselor in a stake presidency. He taught many classes and often spoke in Church. Members of the Little Flock Ward, Rogers Arkansas Stake. Parents of seven children (four living), they have 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

You have to be aware of others' responsibilities and work together." - Helen Stowell Married 70 years ago on Nov. 5, 1927, in Shoshone, Idaho, and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Rupert, Idaho, for six years, farmed in the Burma area north of Shoshone and later moved to Shoshone where he operated an auto body and paint shop for 20 years. They taught dancing in the MIA for 50 years. He served in the bishopric and high priests group leadership. She worked in the stake and ward Relief Society. Members of the Shoshone Ward, Carey Idaho Stake. Parents of three children, they have 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
