Here are performance dates and locations of major Church pageants in 1997.
March 22, 25-29: "Jesus the Christ" on Arizona Temple grounds, Mesa, Ariz. The first performance is in Spanish.June 19-21, 24-28: "Mormon Miracle" on Manti Temple grounds in Manti, Utah.
June 25-28: "A Frontier Story - 1833" at Independence Missouri Visitors Center.
July 11-12, 15-19: "America's Witness for Christ" at Hill Cumorah near Palmyra, N.Y.
July 31, Aug. 1-2, 5-9: "Castle Valley Pageant" at Mountain Amphitheater in Castle Dale, Utah.
Aug. 1-2, 5-9: "City of Joseph" adjacent to Nauvoo Visitors Center in Nauvoo, Ill.
Aug. 15-16, 19-23, Aug. 26-28: "Martin Harris, the Man Who Knew" at amphitheater adjacent to the Clarkston Cemetery in Clarkston, Utah. Admission is free but tickets are required because of limited seating and should be requested soon. Call 801-563-0059.
Dec. 18-25: Calgary Nativity Pageant at Heritage Park in Calgary, Alberta.
"And It Came to Pass," at the Oakland Temple Interstake Center in Oakland, Calif., is held every third year and will not take place this year. Tickets are required when it is presented.
