Modern-day scripture focus of symposium

More than 900 Church members attended the Doctrine and Covenants symposium Jan. 25, held at the institute adjacent to the University of Utah and sponsored by the Church Educational System. During the daylong event, members listened to three speakers present six topics about the Doctrine and Covenants - the text for this year's Gospel Doctrine course. Two of the topics were summarized in the Feb. 1 Church News; three others are summarized this week.
