We have been reading and talking with our children about Nephi building a ship and traveling to the "promised land." One day, my 3-year-old son said thoughtfully, "Mom, where's the promised land?" I replied, "America is the promised land and we live in America." He didn't say anything for a minute and then put his hands on his hips, looked around and said, "Where's Nephi?"
