New stake presidencies

Four new stakes have been created in Utah and Wisconsin.

The Clearfield Utah South Stake, which includes the Clearfield 14th, 16th, and 19th, Island View, and Windsor Meadows 1st and 2nd wards, has been created by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve.The Green Bay Wisconsin Stake, which includes the Green Bay 1st and 2nd, Houghton, Manitowoc, Marquette, and Shawano wards, and the Escanaba, Germfask, Iron Mountain, Marinette, and Sturgeon Bay branches, has been created by Elder L. Aldin Porter of the Seventy.

The Mount Pleasant Utah North Stake, which includes the Fairview 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, and Mount Pleasant 1st and 6th wards, has been created by Elder Monte J. Brough of the Seventy.

The Springville Utah Spring Creek South Stake, which includes the Spring Creek 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 9th wards, has been created by Elder Dennis B. Neuenschwander of the Seventy.

Elsewhere, stakes have been reorganized in Utah and Washington.

New stakes

CLEARFIELD UTAH SOUTH STAKE: (Feb. 9, 1997) Created from the Layton Utah West and Syracuse Utah South Stakes. President - Phillip M. Hardison, 42, owner of Interstate Barricades; wife, Cindy Baird Hardison. Counselors - K. Wade Fenn, 40, employed in sales and installation of HVAC for Dick Kearsley Service; wife, Karen Elaine Severin Fenn. Morton D. Sparks, 54, Clearfield City chief of police; wife, Carolyn Lee Bennett Sparks.

GREEN BAY WISCONSIN STAKE: (Mar. 23, 1997) Created from the Appleton Wisconsin and Milwaukee Wisconsin Stakes, and the Marquette Minnesota District. President - Ronald S. Godfrey, 48, vice president of manufacturing for Schreiber Foods; wife, Marie Beutter Godfrey. Counselors - David Odell Peterson, 43, chief of anesthesiology for Marquette General Hospital; wife, Yvonne Stacey Peterson. Roland A. Baldwin, 58, campus dean for University of Wisconsin-Mantiowoa; wife, Norda Gardner Baldwin.

MOUNT PLEASANT UTAH NORTH STAKE: (Mar. 16, 1997) Created from the Mount Pleasant Utah Stake. President - Warren L. Benincosa, 39, assistant hospital administrator for IHC, Sanpete Valley Hospital; wife, Melinda Larsen Benincosa. Counselors - John C. Perry, 50, special education teacher for North Sanpete School District; wife, Colleen Maughan Perry. Kevin E. Stallings, 42, president and owner of Stallings Sheet Metal; wife, Debra Kay Beagley Stallings.

SPRINGVILLE UTAH SPRING CREEK SOUTH STAKE: (Feb. 23, 1997) Created from the Springville Utah Spring Creek Stake. President - Don D. Bloxham, 56, educator at Brigham Young University; wife, Delone Solomon Bloxham. Counselors - Duane C. Roberts, 54, director of academic and education services for KBYU-TV/FM at Brigham Young University; wife, Leslie Susan Plotts Roberts. Brian C. Hall, 41, estimator and installer for Entry Pro Inc.; wife, Myrna Darrington Hall.

WALLA WALLA WASHINGTON STAKE: (Feb. 23, 1997) President - Thomas J. Young, 50, director of application engineering for Nelson Irrigation Corp.; succeeding Duane Godsey Wood; wife, Patsy Andrews Young. Counselors - Larry L. Johnson, 40, owner of Johnson & Johnson Janitorial; wife, Linda Mae Cottrell Johnson. Kelly W.
