Church News: About the cover

Among the many Latter-day Saints throughout the world celebrating the pioneer sesquicentennial are Valeria Noemi Leguizamon, 12, a Beehive, and others of the Buenos Aires Argentina North Stake, enjoying a pioneer-type outing. About half the members in the South America South Area have been members for less than five years. Their celebrating the pioneer anniversary is giving them a new sense of awareness of their spiritual history, according to Church leaders.

Members also have a growing interest to know about the pioneers of their own countries. The story is on page 6.
