During a three-hour meeting schedule, Primary is held for one hour and 40 minutes. Allow 20 minutes for opening or closing exercises, 30 minutes for sharing time, and 40 minutes for class time. Hold Primary class time for the older children at the same time Sunday School classes are scheduled.
Opening or closing exercises consist of a song, a scripture by a child (the child's own voice where possible), and a prayer by a child. Children should also be asked to give talks. Although Primary does not hold a testimony meeting for children, children who give talks could bear testimony as they desire.
