Sidney and Margaret GodfreyMarried 70 years ago on June 22, 1927, in the Logan Temple. They have lived their entire married lives in Clarkston, Utah, where he drove a milk truck for Cache Valley Dairy. A homemaker, she served in various callings in the Relief Society and continues to serve as a visiting teacher. Their grandparents were original settlers of Clarkston. Members of the Clarkston Ward, Benson Utah Stake. Parents of three daughters, they have six grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Merlin and Edna Sant
Married 70 years ago on June 5, 1926, in Los Angeles, Calif., and a few months later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He sold pots and pans, and then entered the construction business. He served as president of the Los Angeles Stake, and was president of the New Zealand South Mission from 1972-75. He is a patriarch in the Laguna Niguel California Stake and temple sealer. She held many ward and stake callings and is a temple worker. Parents of one son, they have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Newell A. Welker
Married 70 years ago on April 23, 1926, in Safford, Ariz., where they farmed. They were sealed in the Arizona Temple. He drove a moving truck for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He served as counselor in the YMMIA and as home teacher. She was in the YWMIA and ward Relief Society presidency. Members of the Fontana (Calif.) 2nd ward. Parents of six daughters (five living), they have 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
