Yearly calendars should be planned by stake and ward councils several months before the beginning of the year. The activities committee chairman prepares or helps prepare the calendar for publication. All stake, ward, quorum, auxiliary and class activities are listed on the calendar along with holidays, general conferences, stake conferences, and major school and community events that affect members. . . .
The ward activities committee can coordinate, under the direction of the bishop, all scheduling of meetinghouse facilities for activities. It requires full cooperation with other wards using the same meetinghouse.- Activities Committee Handbook
