Sesquicentennial event available on videocassette

The Sesquicentennial Spectacular, the entertainment extravaganza staged at BYU Cougar Stadium July 24-25 that culminated the Pioneer Sesquicentennial, is available on videocassette. Included with each purchase of the videocassette is a copy of the commemorative booklet distributed at the spectacular.

In addition, the recorded music of the production may be purchased on compact disc and audio cassette.Jayne Malan of the Sesquicentennial Committee said copies can be purchased at Church distribution centers. Prices are $8 for the videocassette (order number 97618); $6 for the compact disc (order number 97619); and $5 for the audio cassette (order number 97624).

Recorded live during the first evening's performance, the spectacular recounts the dramatic story of the Church through music, drama and dance. Participants included members of the First Presidency, the Tabernacle Choir, the Mormon Youth Chorus and Symphony, the Utah Valley Children's Concert Choir, the Utah Valley Family Choir, Young Ambassadors, Living Legends, BYU Folk Dancers, full-time missionaries from the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, and many others.
