Married 70 years ago on Sept. 7, 1927, in the Manti Temple. They lived in Delta, Utah, for five years and then moved to Provo, where he worked at Geneva Steel and as a land surveyor. He has served as bishop, high councilor and temple worker, and the couple served two missions at the Washington Temple. She also served as Relief Society and Primary president, and was a volunteer at the Utah Valley Hospital for 45 years. She is known for her homemade pies and candy. Members of the Provo 19th Ward. Parents of five children, they have 20 grandchildren, 26-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
