My son, Elder Quinn Allan Dietlein, is serving in the Germany Leipzig Mission. He recently wrote home detailing the following experience:
On Jan. 9, his preparation day, he awoke at 5:10 a.m. to attend the temple with several other elders and sister missionaries. On the way to the temple the mission van got stuck in thick mud on a dirt road and the missionaries - wearing suits and dresses - pushed it out. When they reached the temple, the elders and sisters left their muddy shoes outside. After attending a session, the missionaries returned to find all their shoes "nicely polished with treats in them."
"The temple workers here," my son wrote, "are great as they are everywhere."
