Recently, my 4-year-old daughter, Michelle, was telling me how she had two grandpas and three grandmas. (The third grandmother is actually a great-grandmother who is still living.)
I said to her, "Actually you have two grandmas and two grandpas, four great-grandmas and four great-grandpas, eight great-great-grandmas and eight great-great-grandpas."
Her eyes got wide as I spoke and before I could go on she asked, "Are they really all mine?" When I said yes, she exclaimed, "Wow, I'm a lucky girl." — Lori Smith Wagner, Peoria, Ariz.
