The First Presidency has announced the calls of eight more mission presidents. The mission presidents and their wives will begin their service about July 1. The new mission presidents and their assignments are:
James R. Engebretsen, 42, Oklahoma Oklahoma City Mission; Broomall 2nd Ward, Philadelphia Pennsylvania Stake; high councilor and stake mission president; former bishop and counselor, high priests group leader, Young Men president, and missionary in the California Sacramento Mission; president of Waterloo Capital Management; received bachelor's degree in economics and master's degree in finance from BYU, and attended BYU-Hawaii; born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Arden Bernt and Eleanore Joy Allen Engebretsen; married Tamera Jones, six children. She is stake director of public affairs; former stake cultural arts director, counselor in stake Young Women presidency, Relief Society teacher, Primary chorister, single adult adviser, and counselor in Young Women presidency; received bachelor's degree in human resource development from BYU; born in Ukiah, Calif., to Milton Bennion and Grace Elaine Guymon Jones.- John H. Holbrook, 57, Switzerland Zurich Mission; Monument Park 14th Ward, Salt Lake Monument Park Stake; teachers quorum adviser; former high councilor, stake Sunday School president, bishop, Sunday School teacher, seventies quorum president, and missionary in the Swiss-Austrian Mission; professor of medicine and attending physician at the University of Utah; received bachelor's degree in pre-medicine and medical degree from the University of Utah; born in Salt Lake City to Raymond Brimhall and Esther Ruth Hamilton Holbrook; married Judith Morris, seven children.
