Conference workshops and open houses

In conjunction with general conference, a series of workshops and displays for Church auxiliaries, departments will be held.

Workshops

Held in the Relief Society Building, 76 N. Main Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, on Thursday, March 26; Friday, March 27; Thursday, April 2; and Friday, April 3. The morning sessions are usually very crowded, so visitors are encouraged to attend in the afternoon, when more space is available.

Primary: (Thursdays only)

Responding to the Prophet's Plea: 9 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. 6 p.m., 7 p.m.

Description: To expand our vision of how Primary can provide a friend, a responsibility, and nurturing with `the good word of God,' for children and for all who serve in the Primary.

Orientation for new stake Primary presidencies: 9 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. 6 p.m., 7 p.m.

President's Message 11 a.m., 2 p.m. 8 p.m.

Young Women:

Let's Make Meaningful Mutuals: 9 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. 6 p.m., 8 p.m.

Description: To teach Young Women leaders how to plan meaningful mutuals by relying on the Spirit to prepare them to meet the needs of the young women. Scriptures will be needed.

Orientation for new stake Young Women 9 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. 6 p.m., 8 p.m.

Relief Society:

Description: To see the Relief Society through new eyes. Scriptures will be needed.

Resource Center

Displays will be available for the following groups in the Resource Center on the ground floor of the Relief Society Building, 76 N. Main Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. Resource Center hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. On Thursday, March 26 and Thursday, April 2, the Resource Center will be open until 9 p.m.

Parking suggestions: There is no free parking. Allow yourself plenty of time to park. Paid parking is available at Crossroads Plaza and the ZCMI Center Mall. There are five nearby lots in which paid parking is available: 1) 3rd W. North Temple. 2) South Temple between 2nd and 3rd West. 3) 2nd West between North Temple and South Temple. 4) Social Hall Terrace. 5) Regent Street Parking off 2nd South between State and Main streets. The UTA provides free bus service in downtown Salt Lake City within designated boundaries.
