Ten years ago in April, the Laurels in the Mesa 40th Ward, Mesa South Stake, made a time capsule - which included their pictures, predictions for the future and testimonies.
Last month, 11 women re-opened the time capsule at their old meetinghouse. They presented their Laurel teachers - one of whom traveled from Utah - with gifts of thanks for the example they set. The women also added current pictures, testimonies and predictions for the future to the time capsule."We already have invitations for the next celebration in another 10 years," said Jodi L. Ross. "Now that we are older we realize how important the friendships are that we made as Laurels."
