While there may be seasons of life in which single members feel a need to participate in special programs - such as single member units - the objective is to have all members of the Church work and associate together as "fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God" (Eph. 2:19).
Stake presidencies and bishoprics should implement activities for single members in conventional wards or single member units that will best answer the needs of single members.Single members are comprised of two age groups: young single adults (ages 18 through 30) and single adults (ages 31 and older).
