Married 70 years ago on Aug. 18, 1928, in San Francisco, Calif., and later sealed in the Oakland Temple. They owned a grocery store in San Francisco and a farm in Redwood City until 1943. Then they moved to Ukiah, Calif., and purchased a hardware store that they operated until 1976. He is a former bishop's executive secretary and Sunday School president. She served as a homemaking instructor, and Primary and Sunday School teacher. Members of the Ukiah 2nd Ward, Ukiah California Stake. Parents of four sons, they have 23 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
