Milestones of togetherness

Married 70 years ago on Dec. 4, 1929, and sealed a year later in the St. George Utah Temple. They lived most of their lives in Pioche, Nev., where he was a building contractor. He served two terms as a Nevada state assemblyman. He was a bishop three times, stake president's counselor, temple president's counselor and patriarch. She served as stake Relief Society and ward Primary president. They have served missions in Texas, the London England and Seattle Washington temples, and were ordinance workers in the St. George Utah Temple for 14 years. They continue to do home and visiting teaching and often visit others in need as well. Parents of three children and two foster children, they have 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
