Three new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency, with their wives called as matrons. They will begin service in 2010.

Keith Crockett, 75, Pima 1st Ward, Pima Arizona Stake, called as president of the new The Gila Valley Arizona Temple. President Crockett's wife, Kathleen McBride Crockett, will serve as temple matron. President Crockett is a patriarch and sealer. He has served as a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy, president of the Argentina Buenos Aires South Mission, stake president, stake president's counselor, high councilor and temple ordinance worker. A retired institute director of the Church Educational System, he was born in Pima, Ariz., to Wilford Woodruff and Jacy Boggs Crockett III.

Sister Crockett serves as a Relief Society humanitarian quilting specialist. She served with her husband as he presided over the Argentina Buenos Aires South Mission. She has also served as a stake Relief Society president's counselor, stake Relief Society board member, ward Young Women president, ward Young Women adviser, teacher, temple ordinance worker and organist. She was born in Safford, Ariz., to Harold Rexal and Lydia Fay Nelson McBride.

Gerald Elbert Mortimer, 66, Ammon 5th Ward, Ammon Idaho Stake, called as president of the new Cebu City Philippines Temple. President Mortimer's wife, Linda Gay McKinnon Mortimer, will serve as temple matron. President Mortimer is the area medical adviser for the Idaho Pocatello and Idaho Boise Missions, and serves as a Sunday School teacher and temple ordinance worker. He has served as president of the Philippines San Pablo Mission, stake president's counselor, bishop, bishop's counselor and ward Young Men president. A retired physician, he was born in Payson, Utah, to William Earl and Margaret Eastmond Johnson Mortimer.

A ward Relief Society president and temple ordinance worker, Sister Mortimer served with her husband as he presided over the Philippines San Pablo Mission. She has also served as a stake Relief Society president's counselor, ward Young Women advisor, Primary teacher and Sunday School teacher. She was born in Logan, Utah, to Glen and Thelma Linda Hatch McKinnon.

Cordell Brownie Rolfson, 69, North Shore Ward, Vancouver British Columbia Stake, called as president of the new Vancouver British Columbia Temple. President Rolfson's wife, Marilyn Jean Hamshaw Rolfson, will serve as temple matron. President Rolfson is a sealer and a high priest group leader. He has served as a stake president, stake president's counselor, bishop and high councilor. A retired systems consultant, he was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, to Brownie and Lenoir Pack Rolfson.

Sister Rolfson is a stake Relief Society president and temple ordinance worker. She has served as a counselor in both a stake and ward Relief Society presidency and ward Young Women presidency, as well as a seminary teacher. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to John Frederick and Jean Margaret Hunter Hamshaw.
