Calendar of events for March 3, 2012

MARCH 8 — The Men and Women of Faith lecture series will feature "Jane's Faith: Jane Manning James, Early Black Pioneer," by Max P. Mueller at 7 p.m. in the main auditorium of the Church Office Building.

MARCH 9 — Mezzo-soprano Ariel Bybee will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Assembly Hall.

MARCH 10 — The BYU-Idaho choirs and orchestra will present "Bring Forth My Zion," from their Sacred Music Series. Tickets are required; visit or call 801-570-0080.

MARCH 10 — The Family History Library is offering an all-day series of classes on Pennsylvania research. Classes will run from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. For more information, visit or call 801-240-4950

MARCH 16-17 — The Orchestra at Temples Square, under the direction of Igor Gruppman, will present its spring concert "Romantic Variations: Music of Brahms and Rachmaninoff," at 7:30 p.m. in the Tabernacle. Tickets are required and can be obtained by visiting or calling 801-570-0080.

DAILY — Organists perform 30-minute recitals in the Tabernacle at noon Mondays through Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays.
