New Temple Presidents for June 9, 2013

Six new temple presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service later this year.

Robert Koch, 66, Dielsdorf Branch, Zürich Switzerland Stake, called as president of the Frankfurt Germany Temple, succeeding President Peter J. G. Berkhahn. President Koch's wife, Myriam Esther Suesstrunk Koch, will serve as temple matron. He serves as the first counselor in the Freiberg Germany Temple presidency. He has served as an Area Seventy, stake president, patriarch, bishop and high councilor. A retired manager at a steel manufacturing company, he was born in Zürich, Switzerland, to Joseph Gallus and Martha Hermine Koch.

Sister Koch serves as an assistant to the matron at the Freiberg Germany Temple. She has served as a patriarch's scribe, in a stake and ward Relief Society presidency and in a stake Primary presidency. She was born in Zürich, Switzerland, to Erwin Konrad and Marguerite Adele Brack Suesstrunk.

James Ermon Griffin, 66, Hot Springs Ward, Little Rock Arkansas Stake, called as president of the Memphis Tennessee Temple, succeeding President T. Evan Nebeker. President Griffin's wife, Marlena Marie Jensen Griffin, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a sealer in the Memphis Tennessee Temple and as a stake seminary teacher. He has served as an Area Seventy, president of the Tennessee Knoxville Mission, regional representative, stake president and bishop. A retired ear, nose and throat surgeon, he was born in El Dorado, Ark., to Ermon Juel and Jollyene Griffin.

Sister Griffin serves as a temple ordinance worker. She served with her husband as he presided over the Tennessee Knoxville Mission. She has also served in a stake Young Women and Primary presidency, and as ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, and in a ward Primary presidency. She was born in Tremonton, Utah, to Orson Emil and Lena Udora Jensen.

Collins Bruce Jones, 66, Plano 5th Ward, Plano Texas Stake, called as president of the Dallas Texas Temple, succeeding President Robert C. Packard. President Jones' wife, Jeraldine Ann Cannon Jones, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a temple ordinance worker in the Dallas Texas Temple. He has served as stake president, bishop, high councilor, and as a senior couple Church Educational System missionary. Retired general manager and owner of Sunburst Shutters Texas, Inc., he was born in Los Angeles, Calif., to Collins Elmer and Florence Maxine Jones.

Sister Jones serves as a temple ordinance worker. She has served in a stake Relief Society presidency, as stake and ward Young Women president, ward Relief Society president and as a senior couple Church Educational System missionary. She was born in Lincoln, Neb., to Kenneth Lynn and Ruth Ipson Cannon.

Keith Edward Woodley, 59, Ashland Ward, Medford Oregon Stake, called as president of the Medford Oregon Temple, succeeding President David J. Davis. President Woodley's wife, Kriss Nelson Woodley, will serve as temple matron. He serves as the second counselor in the Medford Oregon Temple presidency. He has served as stake president, bishop, high councilor, and welfare regional chairman. A retired municipal department head and firefighter for the City of Ashland, Ore., he was born in Silverton, Ore., to Paul Eugene and Mildred Mary Ringlein Woodley.

Sister Woodley serves as assistant to the matron of the Medford Oregon Temple. She has served in a stake and ward Young Women presidency, ward Relief Society presidency and ward Primary presidency. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Jay Gerald and Julia Campbell Nelson.

Jerry Eldon Callister, 70, Merced 1st Ward, Merced California Stake, called as president of the Fresno California Temple, succeeding President Paul B. Hansen. President Callister's wife, Kathryn Ruth Armstrong Callister, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a sealer in the Fresno California Temple and as a stake institute teacher. He has served as president of the Mississippi Jackson Mission, stake president, bishop and high councilor. An attorney for Callister, Hendricks & Spencer, PLC, he was born in Merced, Calif., to Eldon Jones and Beth Hutchings Callister.

Sister Callister serves as a temple ordinance worker, Primary activity day leader and ward choir director. She served with her husband as he presided over the Mississippi Jackson Mission. She has served in a ward Relief Society and Primary presidency and as ward Young Women president. She was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Melvin Stanford and Golda Reading Armstrong.

Roy Alan Fox, 72, Dartmouth Ward, Dartmouth Nova Scotia Stake, called as president of the Halifax Nova Scotia Temple, succeeding President Douglas M. Robinson. President Fox's wife, Hilda Margaret Dodd Fox, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a temple ordinance worker in the Halifax Nova Scotia Temple and as a high councilor. He has served as a stake president's councilor, bishop, branch president and high councilor. Retired medical director of the Integrated Chronic Care Service, he was born in Beccles, Suffolk, England, to Sydney James and Doreen Edith Wright Fox.

Sister Fox serves as a temple ordinance worker and as a counselor in a ward Young Women presidency. She has served as District Primary president, branch Relief Society president, and as ward Young Women president. She was born in Allendale, Northumberland, United Kingdom, to Thomas Hubert and Isabella Ross Routledge Dodd.
