New mission presidents

Eight new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in July.

Todd DarVel Andersen, 59, and Martha Marilyn Hall Andersen, seven children, Thomas 3rd Ward, Blackfoot Idaho West Stake: Spain Málaga Mission, succeeding President Monte M. Deere Jr. and Sister Barbara J. Deere. Brother Andersen serves as a ward Young Men president and is a former stake president, bishop, bishopric counselor, high councilor, branch president and missionary in the Texas San Antonio Mission. Owner and operator, Rockford Service Center. Born in Riverton, Wyoming, to Theo Delores Andersen and Elaine Mae John Andersen.

Sister Andersen currently serves as a Cub Scout leader and is a former president and counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency, ward Primary and Young Women president and Primary teacher. Born in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Herbert Arthur Hall and Dona May Webb Hall.

Rogério Gasparini Rodrigues da Cruz, 43, and Dejane Valença Ferreira da Cruz, four children, Realengo Ward, Rio de Janeiro Brazil Madureira Stake: Brazil Porto Alegre South Mission, succeeding President Palmênio C. Castro and Sister Fiorella A. Castro. Brother Cruz serves as an Area Seventy and is a former stake president, bishop, stake mission president, ward executive secretary and missionary in the Brazil Campinas Mission. Attorney, self-employed. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Severino Rodrigues da Cruz and Ieda Maria Gasparini.

Sister Cruz serves as a ward Primary presidency counselor and is a former stake public relations assistant, ward Relief Society and Young Women president and seminary teacher. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Wilson Ferreira and Nilza Valenca.

David Arthur Foote, 56, and Christina Kelly Foote, six children, Bermuda Ward, Las Vegas Nevada Warm Springs Stake: Georgia Atlanta Mission, succeeding President John R. Harding and Sister Deborah S. Harding. Brother Foote is a former mission presidency counselor, senior missionary (Europe Area YSA adviser), temple ordinance worker, high councilor, bishop, ward Young Men president, ward mission leader and missionary in the Switzerland Geneva Mission. Former business owner, Chapel of the Flowers. Born in Cedar City, Utah, to Wilford Darrell Foote and Barbara Anne Foote.

Sister Foote is a former senior missionary (Europe Area YSA adviser), stake Young Women camp director, ward Relief Society and Young Women president, ward missionary and seminary and gospel doctrine teacher. Born in Reno, Nevada, to Howard Ray Kelly and Leona Kelly.

Raymon Darrell Foote, 54, and Cindy Leavitt Foote, seven children, Sierra Highlands Ward, Reno Nevada North Stake: Madagascar Antananarivo Mission, succeeding President David R. Adams and Sister Anna Adams. Brother Foote serves as a seminary teacher and is a former stake president, bishop, stake athletic director, elders quorum instructor and missionary in the France Paris Mission. Owner, Foote Brothers Construction. Born in Reno, Nevada, to Wilford Darrell Foote and Barbara Anne Foote.

Sister Foote serves as a stake Primary president and is a former ward Primary president, ward Primary worker, ward camp director and ward Young Women adviser. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Myron E. Leavitt and Shirley Joice Leavitt.

Paul Watson Granger, 54, and Gayle Annette Wisseman Granger, eight children, Marion Ward, Adelaide Australia Marion Stake: Vanuatu Port Vila Mission, succeeding President Larry E. Brewer and Sister Maryanne Brewer. Brother Granger serves as a young single adult adviser and is a former stake president, bishop, stake Young Men president and missionary in the New Zealand Christchurch Mission. Owner, cleaning and building maintenance. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, to Thomas Andrew Watson Granger and Catherine Williams Granger.

Sister Granger serves as a young single adult adviser and is a former stake Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, stake Primary presidency counselor, seminary teacher and ward Primary president. Born in Adelaide, Australia, to Garth Elliott Wisseman and Anita Mabel Joyce Purdey Wisseman.

Shaun Marty Morgan, 49, and Lydia Brown Morgan, three children, La Mesa 3rd Branch (Spanish), San Diego California East Stake: Chile Santiago East Mission, succeeding President David L. Wright and Sister Cynthia Wright. Brother Morgan serves as a mission presidency counselor and is a former branch president, high councilor, stake Young Men presidency counselor, seminary teacher, branch presidency counselor and missionary in the Argentina Cordoba Mission. Coordinator, Seminaries and Institutes. Born in Provo, Utah, to Kent Edward Morgan and Esther Rae Young.

Sister Morgan serves as a branch Young Women president and is a former ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president and Spanish-speaking missionary in the California Arcadia Mission. Born in Provo, Utah, to Arnold Weight Brown and Elaine Barton Brown.

Karlyle Raphael, 48, and Myrlande Michel Raphael, three children, Petit Place Cazeau Ward, Croix-des-Missions Haiti Stake: Haiti Port-au-Prince Mission, succeeding President Hubermann Bien-Aimé and Sister Maggy Bien-Aimé. Brother Raphael serves as a high priests group instructor and is a former assistant to the regional auditor, high councilor, bishop and ward Sunday School president. Facilities manager, Corporation of the Presiding Bishop. Born in Ouanaminthe, Nord’ Est, Haiti, to Edec Raphael and Aidé Pierre Raphael.

Sister Raphael is a former stake Relief Society secretary, ward Relief Society and Young Women presidencies counselor, ward Primary teacher, ward Sunday School teacher and ward Relief Society meeting coordinator. Born in Port-au-Prince, Ouest, Haiti, to Stinvil Michel and Carmelite Rabel Michel.

Sergio Agustin Wilson Birriel, 53, and Susana Ramos de Wilson, three children, Centro Ward, Durazno Uruguay Stake: Paraguay Asunción Mission, succeeding President Pedro D. Agazzani and Sister Maria E. Agazzani. Brother Wilson serves as a mission presidency counselor and is a former stake president, stake presidency counselor, branch president, bishopric counselor and ward financial clerk. Maintenance official, Air Force. Born in Rosario, Colonia, Uruguay, to Edgar Noel Wilson and Ines Graciela Birriel.

Sister Wilson serves as a Gospel Principles teacher and is a former Relief Society presidency counselor, ward Young Women president, institute teacher, ward Relief Society teacher and Sunday School teacher. Born in Durazno, Durazno, Uruguay, to Saul Ramos and Luisa Elsa Ramos.
