Tabernacle Choir to celebrate Easter this year with a new concert. Here's how to watch the show

An Easter service by the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, the Orchestra at Temple Square, the Bells on Temple Square and the Gabriel Trumpet Ensemble will be held in April 2019.

The concert, entitled “He Is Risen: A Sacred Easter Presentation,” will include a selection of sacred hymns, songs and readings of the New Testament. According to a news release, the concert will focus on the “joy, hope, and promise of the Resurrection of the Savior Jesus Christ brings to the world.”

The concert will be held on Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) at the Tabernacle on Temple Square; tickets for the concert are available now at ChurchofJesusChrist.org/events. Admission is open to ages 8 and older and is free to the public.

The event will also be live streamed on Saturday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. and will be available on the ChurchofJesusChrist.org home page, The Tabernacle Choir’s website, the choir’s YouTube Channel and the choir’s Facebook page.

On Sunday, April 21, at 6 p.m., BYUtv will broadcast the concert over the air in Utah and through their website.

In 2020, The Tabernacle Choir will perform Handel’s “Messiah” from April 10-11.
