Utah South Area: Children 'hold to the rod'

Young men and young women of the Northridge 7th Ward, Orem Utah Northridge Stake, conducted a Book of Mormon carnival Nov. 14 for Primary children.

The carnival included 10 booths, each centered around a Book of Mormon theme, that provided children hands-on activities that stimulated their interest in the Book of Mormon. The children took a `wilderness walk,' an obstacle course based upon Lehi's dream, where children walked a narrow path and held onto an iron rod that led to a tree. At the tree, they picked a picture of fruit that later was exchanged for the real thing.
