The First Presidency has announced the callings of three mission presidents. They, along with their wives, will assume their responsibilities around July 1.
Vitor Manuel Pereira Martins, 53, assigned to the Portugal Lisbon North Mission; stake president, former regional representative; company owner and general manager; studied accounting; born in Lisbon, Portugal, a son of Fernando Duarte Gomes and Maria Olinda de Jesus Pereira Martins; married Ana Bela da Gloria Jorge Cabido; three children. She is Relief Society teacher, former Relief Society president and counselor; born in Lisbon, Portugal, a daughter of Joaquim Jose and Idalina da Gloria Jorge Cabido.
Rodolfo Pinon, 46, assigned to the Mexico Torreon Mission; stake president's counselor, former high councilor, stake Young Men president's counselor, bishop, Young Men secretary, branch president and counselor; served mission in Mexico, 1963-65; Spanish instructor and foreign language department coordinator; received bachelor's and master's degrees from BYU; born in El Paso, Texas, a son of Manuel Rafael and Emma Spencer Pinon; married Mary Ann Kohlstrand; seven children. She is Primary pianist, former stake Primary president's counselor, Relief Society president, Primary president, Young Women president and counselor, and Relief Society teacher; born in St. Helens, Ore., a daughter of Carl Richard and Madlyn Yadon Kohlstrand.
Won Seo, 49, assigned to the Korea Pusan Mission; stake president, former stake president's counselor, stake mission president, and bishop; served mission in Korea, 1966-68; finance and records manager; earned bachelor's degree from Kunkook University; born in Sungju-gun, Korea, a son of Bong Sok and Ko Boon Woo Seo; married Young Ok Lim; four children. She is Relief Society teacher, former Relief Society president, Young Women president, and Sunday School teacher; born in Seoul, Korea, a daughter of Song Chang and Duk He Hong Lim.
