BYU announces an increase in tuition for upcoming year

      Tuition for the 1993-94 school year at BYU will be increased to $1,100 per semester for undergraduates, $1,290 for advanced-standing students and $2,100 for law school and graduate school of management students.

      The new rates, as approved recently by the BYU Board of Trustees, reflect a 3.8-percent increase for undergraduates, 4 percent for advanced-standing students and 4.5 percent for law and management students.As in the past, tuition for students who are not members of the Church will be 50 percent higher than for members.
