Thousands of members of the Church traveled from the British Isles and from the nations of Europe to attend the rededications of the London and Swiss temples. Some Latter-day Saints traveled by car, bus, train or plane, while others came on foot or on bicycles. The weather was cloudly and rainy most of the time during the rededications, but a spiritual atmosphere seemed to compensate for inclement weather.
The London Temple, left on the cover, was rededicated Oct. 18-20; while the Swiss Temple, right, was rededicated Oct. 23-25. See pages 3-5 and 8-11 for stories and highlights of the rededicatory events.
