Primary presidencies and the priesthood leaders who advise them need to be of one heart and one mind (see D&C 38:27; Moses 7:18) so they can do what is best for the children. To develop unity, Primary leaders and their advisers should:
- Determine when, where and how often to meet and set regular presidency and adviser meetings.- Build good relationships by avoiding criticism, being patient and listening to each others' ideas and opinions, and recognizing that differences in experience and perspective can strengthen decisions.
- Share pertinent information; decisions are better when they are based on complete and accurate information. . . .
