When the army sent sick members of the Mormon Battalion, along with women and children, from Santa Fe to Pueblo, who greeted them at their destination?
Here's answer to week's question
Fourteen families of Church members from Mississippi left their homes in 1846 to meet the Saints in the West. They made it to Wyoming where they discovered that the main body of the Church decided to spend the winter in Nebraska. The Mississippi members then traveled to Pueblo, Colo., where they established a small settlement that welcomed the detachment from the Mormon Battalion.
