Married 70 years ago in the Manti Temple on July 8, 1925, they farmed in Oak City, Utah, after their marriage. In 1945, they purchased a dairy farm in Pleasant Grove, Utah, where they still live. He continues to assist with the dairy and in raising Clydesdale horses. He has served as bishop's counselor, stake missionary and high councilor. She has served in the YWMIA, Relief Society, as a stake missionary and continues to serve in Primary where she has held many positions for more than 60 years. Members of the Lindon 2nd Ward, Lindon Utah Stake. Parents of eight children (six living), they and have 38 grandchildren and 86 great-grandchildren. All 22 grandsons and one granddaughter have filled full-time missions.

Married 70 years ago on July 25, 1925, in Panguitch, Utah, they have lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, for most of their married lives. He served as a stake secretary when he was only 17 years old. He has also taught Sunday School and was a counselor in a stake Sunday School superintendency, assistant secretary in a ward Sunday School superintendency, and a secretary of a stake seventies quorum. He and his three sons were in business together at Intermountain Appliance Service Inc. He is an avid bowler, belonging to several senior leagues. She loves to read, and enjoys having her family members visit and family get-togethers. They are the parents of five children (one deceased), 17 grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 46 step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and 21 step-great-great-grandchildren. They reside in the Crystal Heights 1st Ward in the Salt Lake Highland Stake.
