Two new Young Men counselors called

The Young Men General Presidency was reorganized Oct. 5. Because of his release as a General Authority, Elder Stephen D. Naduld was released as first counselor in the Young Men presidency. Elder Vaughn J Featherstone was released as second counselor and sustained as first counselor. Elder F. David Stanley was sustained as second counselor. Elder Jack H Goaslind continues to serve as Young Men general president. All are members of the Seventy.

Elder Featherstone, 65, became a General Authority in 1972 when he was called to the Presiding Bishopric. He was called to the First Quorum of the Seventy in 1976, and is president of the North America Northeast Area.Elder Stanley, 61, was called to the Second Quorum of Seventy in 1992. He is second counselor in the North America Southeast Area presidency.
