Young Women general meeting to be telecast in 11 languages

The General Young Women Meeting will be telecast over the Church's satellite network at 6 p.m. (MST) on March 29 in 11 languages. The program will be telecast to meetinghouses in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.

Speakers during the annual program for young women ages 12 to 18 will be President Thomas S. Monson, first counselor in the First Presidency; members of the Young Women general presidency; and young women.In a letter Feb. 1 to General Authorities and local priesthood leaders, President Boyd K. Packer of the Quorum of the Twelve wrote: "Young women, their mothers, and Young Women leaders are encouraged to meet together in chapels to view the broadcast. The meeting will be under the direction of the stake presidency. The stake Young Women presidency should be invited to sit on the stand."

The meeting will originate from the Tabernacle on Temple Square. The program will be rebroadcast at 8 p.m. (MST) the same evening over the satellite network, as well as over KBYU-TV.
