I am nearly 80 years old, but spent many years when I was younger serving in Scouting. I was probably in my 60s when my wife and I received a call to meet with our stake president. He asked us to serve as stake missionaries.
Of course we accepted the call, and as we stood to leave, our stake president slipped his arm around me and, as he gave me a hug, said: "Brother Tyler, I guess you haven't forgotten that you were responsible for me becoming an Eagle Scout."My stake president was thanking me for having been his Scoutmaster. What joy we find in the rewards of service.
