Lambda Delta Sigma national officers called

New national officers of Lambda Delta Sigma, the Church sorority for college women, have been announced.

Jeannene N. Barham, Crescent 2nd Ward, Sandy Utah Crescent West Stake, has been named national president. Kathleen Cannon Pinnock, Cottonwood 4th Ward, Salt Lake Big Cottonwood Stake, and Deanna M. Elggren, Eastridge 7th Ward, Draper Utah Eastridge Stake, have been called as first and second counselors, respectively. Bonnie B. Robinson, 18th North Ward, Salt Lake Eagle Gate Stake, will serve as executive secretary,Sister Barham, president of The Balanced Woman Inc., is a former director of a non-profit organization for international students; former Young Women General Board member, stake Young Women president, Primary president and teacher, and Relief Society teacher; married Ed Barham.

Sister Pinnock, a homemaker, is former area, interchapter and chapter adviser for Lambda Delta Sigma; Relief Society president, teacher and compassionate service leader; Primary president and teacher; Young Women counselor and teacher; married Roger B. Pinnock.

Sister Elggren, a homemaker, is a former chapter adviser to Lambda Delta Sigma; Church hostess; Relief Society president and teacher; Young Women counselor, adviser and camp director; stake name extraction coordinator and trainer, Primary teacher; Sunday School teacher; ward newspaper editor; and Cub Scout den leader; married R. Wayne Elggren.

Bonnie B. Robinson, freelance writer and author of LDS novel Through the Mists of Darkness, is a former elementary school teacher; former ward and stake Young Women camp and sports director, Relief Society teacher and music director, and Primary counselor and music director; married Glenn H. Robinson.
