Married 70 years ago on Feb. 25, 1929, in Salt Lake City, and later sealed in the St. George Temple. They lived in Boulder City, Nev., and are now residents of Vista, Calif. He made a career of taking over unprofitable stores and making them profitable, and once saved from bankruptcy an important dairy in Las Vegas, Nev. In his 80s, he rode in endurance horse races. He served in a stake presidency and as stake welfare farm manager. He is now stake patriarch. She cared and provided for the family when he became temporarily disabled. She has served in Relief Society, YWMIA and Primary presidencies. Members of the Vista, Calif., 7th Ward. Parents of two children, they have eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Married 70 years ago on Feb. 28, 1929, in the Alberta Temple. They lived and reared their family in Beazer, Alberta, where they ranched, farmed and he drove a school bus. He served as bishop, bishop's counselor and temple worker. He played the piano in dance bands until recently. She worked in the Relief Society, YWMIA and Primary, and in family history work. They served missions in the Florida Tampa Mission and the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. Members of the Cardston 3rd Ward, Cardston Alberta West Stake. Parents of seven children, they have 39 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
