Married 70 years ago on Jan. 1, 1930, in Beaver, Utah, and later sealed in the Logan Utah Temple. They lived in Beaver and Price, Utah, and Hamilton, Mont., where he was a telegraph operator and manager for Western Union until 1942. Then he worked for Mountain Bell until 1973. He served as ward clerk, Sunday School superintendent and home teacher. She served as a Cub Scout den leader, Sunday School teacher and Relief Society visiting teacher, and did needlework. She also worked as a cook in the Natrona County Medical Center in Casper, Wyo. Members of the Casper 6th ward, Casper Wyoming Stake. Parents of five children (three living), they have 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Married 70 years ago on Dec. 29, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and lived in Arbon Valley, northwest of Malad, Idaho, where he farmed most of his life. Their farm was in an area where his father and grandfather were the first settlers. She served in many teaching and music callings, and enjoys needlepoint and handwork. Members of the Idaho Falls 16th Ward, Idaho Falls Idaho Stake. Parents of three children, they have 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
