I. Cleeo and Orpha Wright

The First Presidency has called I. Cleeo Wright, 66, as director of the Mormon Handcart Historic Site, located on the Mormon Trail some 50 miles north of Rawlins, in south-central Wyoming. A member of the Bennion Heights 5th Ward, Bennion Heights Utah Stake, he was born in Murray, Utah, to Cleeo Datell and Mary Hill Musser Wright. He married Orpha Elizabeth Merrick, and they are parents of six children. He is a former district president, stake executive secretary, high councilor and bishop. Sister Wright was born in Pasadena, Calif., to Frank Kidd and Mildred E. Sterling Merrick. She has served as Young Women president, Relief Society president's counselor and secretary, counselor in the Primary presidency and family history coordinator.
