LDS clean school buildings

ASUNCION, Paraguay — About 400 members from four stakes in Paraguay recently teamed with the country's ministry of education and culture to clean and refurbish four public schools.

Members from the Asuncion, Asuncion North, Fernando de la Mora and Fernando de la Mora South stakes gathered to clean outside the school buildings, paint walls, upgrade roofs, repair windows and, at one school, build an administrative office.

The service project was designed to allow members to work together and fulfill their duty to help provide service to others while improving one's personal and spiritual self. The project also allowed Church members of all ages to work with fellow members of the community.
